Meet Dr. Mariam Barikbin Born in Tallahassee, Dr. Mariam began her academic journey at Florida State University before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida. She continued her training with a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia.After completing her residency, Dr. Mariam married and went on to own and operate a successful dental practice in the larger Philadelphia area for 10 years. Ultimately, her Florida roots called her back home, and she returned to Jacksonville, where she now lives with her husband and two children. Both of her kids play travel hockey, which keeps the family’s weekends filled with practices, tournaments, and plenty of time on the road. With nearly 20 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Mariam has had the privilege of caring for patients across different communities and now takes pride in providing exceptional local care in Jacksonville. She deeply values building lasting relationships with her patients, taking the time to listen to their concerns, and creating customized treatment plans that fit each individual’s needs while supporting their best long-term oral health. Professionally, Dr. Mariam has extensive experience in treating TMJ joint disorders and performing cosmetic dental procedures. She has also undergone advanced training through the prestigious Dawson Academy, further refining her skills in comprehensive, patient-centered dentistry. |
